We currently have positions available in the following disciplines:

Teaching Assistant
The Chatter Box has both a full-time and part-time teaching assistant position.  The full-time assistant works in our three- and four-year-old classrooms and also assists general with office work.  Our part-time assistant works 2-3 mornings per week in our two-year-old classroom and may assist with office work as needed.  Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
Developmental Interventionist
The Chatter Box is seeking a developmental interventionist with their Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education certification to assist with early intervention services, including a lead teaching position for our two year old playgroup/preschool program.  Pay based on education and experience.
Speech-Language Pathologist - M.S., CCC-SLP

As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with The Chatter Box you will:

  • complete assessments, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • cross-train team members in speech-language pathology skills and conduct patient and family education sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an ASHA accredited school of Speech/Language Pathology.
  • Valid Speech/Language Pathology license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (or meet the requirements for Clinical Fellowship Year).
  • Pediatric, special needs therapy and long term care experience is a plus.

Physical Therapist | Occupational Therapist {PT/OT}

As a licensed OT or PT with The Chatter Box you will:

  • Manage, supervise and coo rdinate delivery of patient care for assigned therapy settings.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical patient care standards, regulatory requirements and established policies and procedures.
  • Actively support and promote a professional clinical model that encourages staff participation in the development of clinical standards.
  • Assist the Director of Therapy Services with strategic planning for the department.
  • Plan, schedule and organize work for employee groups ensuring proper distribution of assignments and efficient utilization of personnel, space and facilities; overall accountability for the requisition, care and maintenance of therapy area inventory, equipment and supplies.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.  Master’s Degree preferred.
    • Relevant clinical practice experience, with previous management experience preferred.
    • Kentucky licensure and any applicable certification/registry to practice Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
    • Pediatric, special needs therapy and long term care experience is a plus.
