Playgroup
We love our PlaygroupProgram! Our class includes up to five two year old children per teacher. Three of the five children receive a therapeutic service (either through the Kentucky First Steps program or privately), and the other two to three children are our “Neighborhood Friends” who have come to play with us. There are two adults teaching the class: Angela and Emily, with an additional adult in the room to assist.
The children come to school one day a week: Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday from 9:30 am to 11:30 pm. The typical schedule for the two hours is as follows:
9:30-10:00 Gross Motor Room
10:00-10:20 Circle Time
10:20-11:00 Free Play
11:00-11:10 Speech Lesson
11:10-11:25 Snack
11:25-11:30 Dismissal
We typically work within a theme (Fall, water, colors, etc.) for approximately 4 to 5 weeks at a time. The children will be bringing home their work related to our activities, as well as displaying their work around the room. A monthly newsletter and calendar will be sent home as well as activities to work on with your child related to a theme/skill.

Fees
Neighborhood Friends: $25 per session
Children receiving private services: $50 per session
The fee is charged monthly for the enrolled days regardless of attendance. Come join us for great fun, socialization, and early learning!
