Preschool Assistant

My name is Makenna Brizendine and I am a student at Eastern Kentucky University studying Occupational Therapy. I will be a Junior at EKU and am looking forward to applying my knowledge and skills while learning from the amazing therapists at The Chatter Box. My years of experience working as a nanny, serving in multiple roles at church, and going on mission trips that focused on children have prepared me for this opportunity. I am excited to join The Chatter Box team and to have the opportunity to serve families and children.

Heather Spoonamore

Preschool Assistant

Ms. Heather has been working with preschool aged children for over 10 years in various settings, but has been here at The Chatter Box since 2014. Heather went to college for Music and Early Childhood Development. Her husband was in the Navy so they moved many times before finally settling here in Crestwood in 2014. They have 3 children; Harper, William and Abby. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, doing things outdoors, and going to church. She also plays the violin and loves anything to do with music and dancing! Heather loves being able to help your children here at The Chatter Box; whether it be through assisting playgroup, teaching preschool or helping out behind the scenes in the office.
